Paph javanicum

Paph javanicum
First time bloomer, I like the green straps on the dorsal, and the wide open petals, and not forgetting it looks like a grouchy old man's face! Ha ha..

Paph rothschildianum, S Gratrix and a surprise guest

Paph rothschildianum

This is the first time roths bloomed at my place, the last time its spike did not make it to bloom. Although it was just with one flower, it is 21cm across, kinda big flower, I am happy about it, hope to see more of it.

Paph roths, spike out from another pot. Looks like at least 2 flowers? am hoping to see min 3 of them, let's pray!

Paph S Gratrix
Second bloom and in less than 6 months. strong deep purple patches.

Paph spicerianum
Looks like something is not right with this spike, think I am going to lose this! That is sad!

Ha Ha!
Something interesting! Do you know what is this? it is a species, not fully bloomed yet. Am excited to see this!

Repotted all of the seedlings, they are about 80 of them. They are relatively young, perhaps another year of so before I could see them flowering!

At The Garden Today

Another long day at the garden before heading to church for mass. Yep, it was a busy day for me, especially when I had to run to a few places before gardening job was done.

Finally I received the Rand's air cone pots!!  And had started using them as well!

Took some pictures today, I just want to share with you what I had discovered in the garden today!

S Gratrix and bellatulum

S Gratrix, coming soon! coming soon! The bud looks rather round, I wonder is the flower going to be as round too?

Off season, but my bellas still want to show off!

exul

Finally another one bloomed too, they are just gorgeous! Deep color with wide opened arms!

Guess what is this? one week later

One week had just passed, the spike had already came out quite a bit. I believe you would have known what is this going to be? Right?

And just a few pots away, another one is showing off its sheath as well, and it's coming out slowly too.
