This method is actually quite troublesome, but it's the method how I started trying to induce the (cool)paphs to bloom. (which was successful for me)
Item needed:
1. light
2. a USB mini fan
3. 6 frozen ice in the 1lt bottles (2 for night use, and 4 for day use)
4. 3 polyfoam boxes (2ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft)
5. a timer to control light

I change the iced bottles twice a day(6am and 8pm). Using the mini fan to help circulating the cool air in the polyfoam box throughout the day.
So far, this works for most of my paphs.. At least they do spike and bloom! Ha..
where & how do you place ice bottle ? first compartment & tied to it? what if water drops to bottom plants?
ReplyDeleteThanks,

the ice bottles are placed on the top tier.. also to place a piece of cloth beneath the ice bottles so that the water will not drop to the bottom..
