Quite a number of them bloomed now, and with some in buds. Most of them bloomed last year, but their flowers were smaller than this year.


Looking forward to see most of them in a one or two weeks time!

Another paph S.Gratrix bloomed after I came back from an overseas trip. The shape and color are very much like godefroyae, I don't really see much of bellatulum in it.

From crossing, to collecting seed pod, to sending to lab, to deflasking, to growing.. 4years later, finally bloomed..

Not the perfect shape, just the the purity of the flower!

This niveum spiked and bloomed in the compot! The flower is about 5.5cm across and it's very round. The plant is very relatively small as compare to other niveum that I have.

Nevertheless, I am happy with the outcome!

Hybrid (exul x bellatulum)

A hybrid that is rare seen around, may be due to the shape of the flower. You don't see much of bellatulum in it, however, the dorsal does resemble one of the parents, exul.


Very easy plant to grow, can withstand hot season, and brighter light. One thing that I really want to complain is that, it took almost 3 plus months to bloom! (hopefully the flower can last for 3 months!)

First bloom after adopting it from a friend whom decided to give it up last year, the bud was huge prior to blooming, unfortunately, the flower did not open up more.

One of the easier paph to grow, not much effort was put in for taking care of it. Not the best form but I do like the purple pimples.
